Introduction

A1KnowHow (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.

Information We Collect

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

  • Create an account
  • Subscribe to our services
  • Contact us for support
  • Sign up for our newsletter

This information may include:

  • Name and email address
  • Payment information (processed securely through Stripe)
  • Usage data and preferences

Automatically Collected Information

We may automatically collect certain information when you use our service:

  • IP address and device information
  • Browser type and version
  • Pages visited and time spent
  • Error logs and performance data

Sign in with Google

If you choose to sign in to A1KnowHow with your Google account, we receive certain information from Google to authenticate you and manage your account. This applies only when you use the optional “Continue with Google” sign-in on our login or signup pages.

Google user data we access

When you authorize Google Sign-In, we request access to:

  • Your email address — used to identify your account, sign you in, and match team invitations to the correct user.
  • Your Google profile picture — saved as your account avatar and shown in the A1KnowHow interface (for example, in the navigation and profile settings).
  • Your name — we may store the name associated with your Google account to display on your profile.

We request only the email and profile information needed for sign-in. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or other Google services.

How we use Google user data

We use the information above solely to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your A1KnowHow account
  • Link Google sign-in to an existing account when the email addresses match
  • Display your profile in the application

We do not use Google user data for advertising, selling to third parties, credit decisions, or purposes unrelated to providing A1KnowHow.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Storage, retention, and deletion

Google user data we receive is stored on our systems as part of your account profile. We retain it for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service, consistent with the Data Retention section of this policy.

You may request deletion of your personal information as described in Your Rights. Deleting your A1KnowHow account removes the Google-derived data we stored in your profile.

Revoking Google access

You can revoke A1KnowHow’s access to your Google account at any time:

  1. Visit Google Account → Third-party apps with account access
  2. Select A1KnowHow
  3. Click Remove access

After you remove access, you will no longer be able to sign in with Google until you authorize sign-in again. Revoking access at Google does not delete your A1KnowHow account or data stored with us; contact us at [email protected] if you want your account deleted.

Sharing Google user data

We do not sell or rent Google user data. We do not share it with third parties except service providers that help us operate A1KnowHow (such as hosting providers), who are bound by confidentiality obligations and may only process data on our instructions to provide the service.
