Agent Chat

Chat with AI agents that understand your knowledge base and can help you find information.

Starting a Chat

  1. Open a document
  2. Find the chat panel (usually on the right side)
  3. Type your question or request
  4. The agent searches your documents and responds

What Agents Can Do

Agents can:

  • Answer questions based on your documents
  • Help you find specific information
  • Assist with document editing
  • Research topics using web search (if web search MCP server is configured, can use something like Tavily MCP documentation)

Chat Context

Agents understand the context of where you’re chatting:

  • Workspace chat: Searches all documents in the workspace
  • Document chat: Focuses on the current document
  • Global chat: Searches across all your workspaces

The agent automatically uses the right context based on where you start the chat.
